Here is a video demonstrating the inaccurate thought processes of a beginner in RC, making false assumptions and getting in well over their head for a 1st plane. :)  

Many experienced modelers may find this quite amusing, and can relate to the "flight instructor" character herein.  PS. An "EDF Jet" means an "Electric Ducted Fan Jet" (for example, see here: http://www.nitroplanes.com/edf.html).  Many beginners want them because they "look cool and go fast," but they know nothing about flying (and here's a side note to the beginner: many high-speed prop-driven electric planes can go faster than most high-speed EDF Jets).  Anyway, no EDF Jet that I know of is good for an absolute beginner with no flying experience or basic aerodynamic understanding of aircraft.
